In pursuance of the Committee’s decision of 9^th March, to undertake a visit to the location of the Royal Exchange scheme

            Pursuant to the Committee’s decision of 9th March, the Members undertook a site visit to the location of the Royal Exchange Scheme.  The Members were welcomed on the tour by Mr. Nick Reid, Ewart Properties Limited and Mr. Jonathan Bethel and Mr. Adrian Griffiths, Chapman Taylor Architects and proceeded by foot through the Lombard, Castle and North Street areas.  In addition, the Members were shown plans and images depicting various buildings which were proposed within the Scheme and received information from the Architects in connection with the proposed use of those listed buildings located along the route. 

            At the conclusion of the visit, the Chairman thanked the representatives for the informative tour and for the helpful manner in which they had replied to Members’ questions.
