Minutes Minutes: The minutes of the meetings of 5th and 19th April were taken as read and signed as correct. It was reported that those minutes had been adopted by the Council at its meeting on 1st May, subject to the omission of those matters in respect of which the Council had delegated its powers to the Committee.

Routine Correspondence Minutes: It was reported that correspondence had been received in respect of the following:
Notification from the Roads Service regarding the proposed provision of disabled parking bays at:
17 Hillview Avenue; and 40 Glencairn Crescent.
Notification from the Roads Service regarding a proposed Abandonment at Limestone Road.
Notification from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive in respect of a Notice of Application for a Vesting Order at Upper New Lodge.
Notification from the Department for Social Development in respect of a Notice of Application for a Vesting Order at Land and Property at 117 Mayo Street.
Copies of the letters, maps and orders relating to the above-mentioned matters were made available at the meeting for the information of the Members.

Request for Deputations Minutes: The Committee was reminded that, at its meeting on 16th February, it had agreed that a request would be made to the offices of the Planning Service to attend a future meeting to update Members on the progress achieved to date in respect of the Houses in Multiple Occupation Subject Plan.
The Committee was informed that representatives from the Planning Service would be in attendance at its meeting on 17th May to provide an update in this regard.

Ormiston House Z/2010/1644/LBC and Z/2010/1647/F Minutes: The Committee considered further two planning applications in relation to alterations to Ormiston House, its Gate House and Mews Buildings to provide eleven apartments and to provide a new build block consisting of twenty apartments, including new access to Knocktern Gardens in respect of which the Divisional Planning Manager had offered opinions to approve.
The Committee agreed, with three Members voting against, to adopt the opinion of the Divisional Planning Manager.
(As the decision was not unanimous it was subject to ratification by the Council.)

Footpath at Upper Newtownards Road North-East of Junction of Beersbridge Road Z/2011/0900/F Minutes: The Committee considered further a planning application in relation to a proposed telecommunications development at the above-mentioned location in respect of which the Divisional Planning Manager had offered an opinion to approve.
The Committee agreed, with one Member voting against, to adopt the opinion of the Divisional Planning Manager.
(As the decision was not unanimous it was subject to ratification by the Council.)

British Telecommunications Z/2011/0972/F - 22 Alexandra Gardens Minutes: The Committee considered a planning application which had been submitted by British Telecommunications for the erection of a new street cabinet to facilitate the provision of new fibre optic infrastructure across the network, in respect of which the Divisional Planning Manager had offered an opinion to approve.
After discussion, the Committee agreed, with one Member voting against, to adopt the opinion of the Divisional Planning Manager to approve the application.
(As the decision was not unanimous it was subject to ratification by the Council.)
