This event will launch the Deafblind NI Charity which will provide care and assistance to residents of the City and further afield who feel marginalised by their disability. It will aim to highlight the services provided for those who suffer from the dual sensory loss ranging from a peer support group to a network of home ‘befrienders’. This event would contribute to the Council’s Key Theme of ‘City Leadership – Strong, Fair, Together’ and ‘Better support for people and communities’. |
